Rakibul Alam is a PhD student in Civil Engineering (focus: Transportation Systems Engineering) at University of Central Florida. He completed his undergraduate from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology and master’s from Memorial University of Newfoundland, both in Civil Engineering. His past research works relate with environmental impact from road pavement maintenance, and pavement life cycle assessment using data science. He served at the faculty of Civil Engineering at University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS), as an educator. Now, he is working on the optimization of electric vehicles charging station for ridesourcing services.
